Orlando Sentinel Endorses Lawson Lamar

Today, the Orlando Sentinel announced that it was endorsing Lawson Lamar for re-election as our State Attorney for the Ninth Judicial Circuit, saying ,

"...Mr. Lamar should be re-elected. Mr. Lamar and his team are right to prosecute politicians and influence-peddlers. There have been hits and misses, but that's no reason to ease up. While Mr. Lamar vows to push on, Ms. Leon seems to lack enthusiasm in going after public corruption. That's a serious concern."

The article also mentioned the opponent "has associated herself with Doug Guetzloe, a political attack artist who is awaiting sentencing on an election-law violation," bringing her judgment into question.
